Denali National Park and Preserve
Management

Denali National Park and Preserve, at 6 million acres, is one of the largest national parks in the United States. The park includes North America's highest mountain, 20,320-foot tall Mount McKinley, designated wilderness area and an international biosphere reserve.

Denali is one of over 389 National Park Service units that, working with other partners, helps safeguard this nation's natural and cultural heritage.

Park managers work with local communities, state and federal agencies, the general public and numerous other partners to insure that visitors can experience this incredibly diverse and dynamic landscape while keeping the promise of preservation for future generations. Balancing these at times contradictory missions of preservation and visitor use can be challenging.

The Management section is where you will find a broad range of information related to the management of Denali National Park and Preserve, including park's planning documents as well as environmental assessments for current projects and other guiding documents. If you don't find what you are looking for here, please use the Contact Us button to request other information or reference materials.
